<p>A raised bed vegetable garden provides two important aspects to your gardening experience. It will allow any excess water to drain out faster and it allows the soil to warm up more quickly. Therefore, you may well be able to grow vegetables in a climate that normally you would not attempt.</p>
<p>A raised bed vegetable garden is ideally suited for many vegetables as it affords extra room for plants to grow deep, sturdy roots. The extra depth allows the plant roots more room to grow and become stronger. This has the benefit of producing sturdier plants which will yield better harvests.</p>
<p>A raised vegetable garden bed can be made by creating a planting area and mounding up the soil using a shovel or rake. You have the ability to decide how large you want this area to be, but it is usually around 21 inches across for easy access to individual plants. Soil used in vegetable garden beds should be of the best quality you can manage. High quality topsoil, or regular topsoil mixed with compost or manure is a good choice.</p>
<p>For smaller gardens with limited space it is best to use wooden frames to help hold the soil. This allows more space for the aisle of vegetables between each of the plants. Now you can space them all the same distance apart in the same direction. The wooden frames should be made out of 2inch x 10inch or 2inch x 12inch and should be treated to stand up to the rain and insects.</p>
<p>You can try using old tires as containers for your vegetable plants. The tire material will keep plants warm &#8211; as the early morning sun heats the rubber, giving your plants warmth all day and night long. Similar to a raised bed vegetable garden, the tires will also shed water more quickly, preventing your plants from sitting in water all day.</p>
<p>You don&#8217;t want your plants to be too wet or dry out too fast. As you prepare your soil, be on the lookout for low spots which could drain too slowly. If you spot any, be sure to add extra soil to build the level up. Even then, the depth can change with your first watering. Continue to build up low spots where you will plant your vegetables until you have a nice level spot for your plants.</p>

<p><strong>The Bicycle</strong> &#8212; (Rated Best Abs Exercise by San Diego State University) Lie down on the floor, again. Put your hands on the side of your head, behind your ears. Bring up your knees to about a 45 degree angle. Now start &#8220;pedaling.&#8221;</p>
<p>Now, touch your elbow to your opposite knee &#8211; right elbow, left knee and vice versa &#8211; as you continue.</p>

<p>The chest muscles basically are made up of two muscles which lie on top of the ribs on the chest wall. The smaller muscle, of the two, that lies close to the chest wall is called the pectoralis minor while the bigger muscle that lies on top of the smaller muscle and which gives the chest its size and appearance is called the pectoralis major.</p>
<p>Your pectoral muscles are one of the major large muscle groups in your body and a developed chest is often seen as a sign of masculinity. A strong chest not only looks good, but it lends to overall upper body strength, important in many different sports.</p>
<p>Most workouts for the chest don&#8217;t just work the pectoral muscles, but the triceps and shoulders as well. So when you work to develop your chest you&#8217;re also increasing the size and shape of your upper body altogether.</p>
<p>Before performing these workouts it is vital to warm up by stretching and doing some light aerobic work. A particularly effective aerobic exercise is rowing on an indoor machine. This will not only stretch those upper body muscles but will also promote the blood flow to the muscles getting them ready for the workouts thereby lowering the risk of injury.</p>
<p>Another useful exercise is the push-up. You don&#8217;t need fancy equipment, exercise machines, or weights, and can be done at home in your own bedroom. To do this, lie flat on your stomach with yours arms braced beneath your shoulders. Push up with your arms, keeping your legs and back straight. When your arms are fully extended, only your hands and toes should be touching the floor.</p>
<p>Some people may find this difficult at first, so don&#8217;t be afraid to let your knees stay touching the floor. Lower yourself slowly rather than just dropping down in order to get the most for your muscles out of the exercise. When you get better, and stronger, and are looking to make it more of a challenge try bracing your hands further apart.</p>
<p>One of my favorite chest exercises is the bench press, which you will see many people perform down the gym. It is important you have a training partner to help you with this exercise for safety reasons. Lying flat on your back on a bench hold the barbell out at arms length. Then, slowly lower it until it just touches the chest and then proceed, again slowly, to lift it back up to the arms outstretched position.</p>
<p>It is vital to not perform any jerky movements or bounce the weights off the chest wall. Doing around three sets of about eight repetitions once to twice a week will soon develop your chest muscles and you will quickly notice a difference.</p>
